I was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. From a young age, I loved promoting confidence and making people feel their best. Through makeup and skincare, I discovered I could do exactly that!

 

After getting my Bachelor's degree in journalism from MSU, I pursued my dream of moving to New York and took my love of makeup with me. While there I attended Make-Up Designory and gained a Multi-Media Make-Up Artistry Certificate. New York and Chicago introduced me to the fast-paced and fashion-forward world of makeup — I explored every avenue it had to offer, including working on models for New York fashion week, assisting two celebrity makeup artists, transforming brides on their big days, and applying makeup for commercials and special effects for movies.

 

I later furthered my skincare education and became a licensed aesthetician in Illinois and Michigan, and after moving back to my hometown, spent several years as an aesthetician and aesthetic manager at a medical spa, deepening my expertise in skin health and treatment.
